Program Overview
Virtual Next Chapter U is a six-week online certificate program from the University of Miami Herbert Business School’s Executive Education Department and Pro Athlete Community, designed to help current and former professional athletes successfully transition beyond sports.
Blending Miami’s academic excellence with PAC’s proven transition expertise, the program follows the pillars of Engage, Educate, and Empower. Over six themed weeks, participants rebuild identity, expand career and business skills, and explore pathways in entrepreneurship, real estate, leadership, and personal growth.
Through a curated virtual environment, athletes stay connected, track progress, and engage in networking that mirrors the camaraderie of the locker room. Each graduate earns a University of Miami Executive Education Certificate, along with the vision, skills, and network to own their next chapter and thrive in life, leadership, and business.

Program Pillars
Engage
Led by PAC’s Certified Leadership Coaches, this 6-part series is the foundation of the “inside work” that drives lasting transformation. Delivered in small, consistent coaching pods, these sessions help participants rebuild identity, develop self-awareness, clarify vision, and activate purpose. The format fosters trust, vulnerability, and peer accountability—mirroring the culture and connection of the locker room.
Educate
Curated in partnership with the University of Miami Herbert Business School and PAC’s network of business leaders, these high-impact workshops deliver practical skills, frameworks, and insights that support success across all three career pillars: entrepreneurship, real estate, and traditional careers. Each session is designed to translate directly into real-world readiness and long-term growth.
Empower
Bring the journey to life. Featuring elite current and former pro athletes alongside high-performing business leaders, these sessions offer unfiltered, real-world insight into success. Through storytelling, Q&A, and lived experience, members gain inspiration, mentorship, and the confidence to take action. We also offer micro immersions that empower members with the tools and resources to go build on their own or leverage our networks to create immersion opportunities in their own backyards.
