Patrice Evra is a five-time Premier League champion, UEFA Champions League winner, and former captain of both Manchester United and the France national team—widely regarded as one of the finest full-backs of his generation. Today, he is an entrepreneur, investor, author, speaker, and one of football’s most influential global voices on mental health, leadership, and life after sport.
As a PAC Advisory Board Member, Patrice brings the perspective of an elite athlete who has navigated the full arc—from the streets of Les Ulis, to lifting trophies at Old Trafford, to building a global post-career platform rooted in purpose. His voice strengthens PAC’s mission to prepare athletes for what comes after the armband.
Born in Senegal and raised in the Paris suburb of Les Ulis—the same neighborhood that produced Thierry Henry—Evra signed his first professional contract at 17 with Italian club Marsala before moving through Monza, Nice, and AS Monaco. At Monaco, he helped lead the club to the 2004 UEFA Champions League Final and was named UNFP Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year.
In January 2006, Sir Alex Ferguson brought Evra to Manchester United—the transfer that would define his career. Over eight seasons at Old Trafford, Evra made 379 appearances and won 14 major trophies, including:

- Named to the PFA Team of the Year 3 times, the UEFA Team of the Year, and the FIFPro World XI
He later joined Juventus, where he won two Serie A titles and reached another Champions League final, before spells at Marseille and West Ham United. Evra retired from professional football in July 2019.On the international stage, Evra earned 81 caps for France and captained Les Bleus at the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He represented his country at five major tournaments across three World Cups and three European Championships.

He is the founder of I Love This Game, a global brand and movement focused on positivity, mental health, and personal growth—powered by one of the most influential voices in sport, with a combined social reach of more than 20 million followers.
His business portfolio spans sports tech, consumer brands, and wellness. He is a co-founder of FanCart, and is actively involved in ventures including PLAYER (sports-tech platform) and Estrella CF, with additional investments across companies such as Dash Water and wellness startups.
Evra is also a sought-after keynote speaker and author—his autobiography, I Love This Game, became a bestseller upon release—and a respected pundit across Sky Sports, ITV, and Amazon Prime Video. He has completed his professional coaching badges through Manchester United’s academy and remains connected to the game at the highest levels.
Beyond business, Patrice is a global advocate for mental health, child protection, and equality in sport. He speaks openly about his own journey and uses his platform to challenge stigma and support survivors—work that has earned him speaking engagements at the Milken Institute and other global stages.
