Jermon Bushrod

“PAC has been special and it’s really needed. When the NFL bubble bursts, and it will, you need so much more than a plan. You need people. PAC is just that – people with a plan”
A native of King George County, Virginia, Jermon Bushrod attended King George High School, where he lettered in basketball, baseball and football, where he earned an honorable mention at offensive tackle.

Jermon attended college at Towson University, playing football for all four years. After a redshirt freshman season in 2002, Jermon would earn third-team All-Atlantic 10 the following two seasons, and in 2006 was named an All-Atlantic 10 selection at left tackle, with the Tigers finishing with a 7-4 record. Jermon finished his college career with a streak of 38 consecutive starts.
Selected 125th overall by the New Orleans Saints in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft, Jermon would become the starting left tackle for the team prior to the 2009 season. That season would see the team go 13-3, winning the NFC South and eventually paving the way to the first Super Bowl victory in New Orleans history.

In 2011, Jermon led the NFL in snaps played (1,177) and earned Pro Bowl nods that year and the following. Jermon signed a five year contract with the Chicago Bears in 2013 before eventually joining the Miami Dolphins in 2016. Jermon played for two more seasons before rejoining the Saints in 2018 and eventually retiring from the NFL in 2019 after twelve seasons.
Today Jermon enjoys spending time with his family in Miami, Florida and King George, Virginia as well as working on the sports programs and initiatives on his non-profit organization, the Visualize and Rize Foundation.
