Co-Chair
Jason Mccourty

“Throughout every NFL player’s career, we’re encouraged to strike while the iron is hot and seize opportunities off the field. Being a co-chair for the Pro Athlete Community advisory board is a deeply meaningful way for me to give back and help grow initiatives like the PAC business combine—a space where the vision of ‘off-the-field networking’ comes to life, empowering players to dream bigger and take bold steps toward their next chapter.”
Following a standout 13 year run in the NFL including winning a Super Bowl, Jason McCourty has seamlessly transitioned into a successful broadcasting career. Jason left an indelible mark on the NFL through his exceptional skills, leadership, and unwavering dedication to his teammates.

Jason played his collegiate football at Rutgers before being drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the 6th round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Throughout his tenure with the Titans, Jason demonstrated an uncanny ability to read the game, providing crucial defensive plays and solidifying his reputation as a reliable cornerback.
A pivotal moment in McCourty’s career occurred in 2018 when he and his twin brother, Devin, shared the field as New England Patriots, becoming the first twins to ever win a Super Bowl as teammates. This unique and heartwarming experience added another layer to Jason’s legacy, showcasing the importance of family bonds and shared accomplishments in the competitive world of professional sports.

Jason McCourty announced his retirement from the NFL in May of 2022. Only months after stepping away from the game he joined NFL Networks’ Emmy Award winning “Good Morning Football” as a co-host and has immediately been recognized for his talents, earning the Sports Illustrated Sports Media Award for Best Replacement. Jason also serves as a game analyst for both CBS Sports and Westwood One.
While Jason is known for his professional accomplishments, it’s his work in the community that truly tells the story of the person behind the celebrity. While playing in the NFL, Jason was nominated for countless community awards including the Walter Payton Man of the Year, The Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian and the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award. Jason and his twin brother, Devin were inducted into the Rutgers University Hall of Distinguished Alumni, the highest honor any alumnus can receive.

In 2013, Jason and Devin launched their “Tackle Sickle Cell” Campaign in partnership with Embrace Kids Foundation (located in New Brunswick, NJ) with the aim of educating the public, increasing blood donations and raising money and awareness for the fight against sickle cell disease. To date, Tackle Sickle Cell has raised over 2.5 million dollars net profit to support families battling sickle cell. Jason currently serves on the Boston Medical Center Philanthropic Trust. Jason and his wife Melissa are parents to three children – Liana, Kaiden and Kai.
