Devin McCourty is a former NFL safety, 3-time Super Bowl Champion, and one of the most respected leaders to ever wear a New England Patriots uniform. Now retired after a 13-year career, Devin serves as Co-Chair of the Advisory Board at Pro Athlete Community (PAC), where he plays a pivotal role in shaping programs that support athlete career transition, personal growth, and business leadership beyond sports.
Drafted in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft out of Rutgers University, Devin started all 205 games of his NFL career, tallied 35 interceptions, and was named to the Patriots All-Decade Team. He served as a team captain for 12 consecutive seasons—a reflection of his elite leadership both on and off the field.
Today, Devin is a football analyst for NBC’s Football Night in America and Westwood One Radio. But his influence extends far beyond the broadcast booth.

A longtime advocate for education equity, health justice, and economic advancement, Devin co-founded the Tackle Sickle Cell campaign, raising over $2.5 million to support families battling sickle cell disease. He also serves on the board of Boston Medical Center and is a leader within the Players Coalition, where he chairs the Education and Economic Advancement Committee. His work has helped pass key legislation like Massachusetts’ Student Opportunity Act, and he continues to champion programs that redirect youth from incarceration toward education and opportunity—such as through his role at Boston Uncornered.
As both a speaker and participant in PAC programs, Devin brings unmatched insight into athlete identity, post-sports purpose, and community-driven success. He challenges current and former athletes to embrace their next chapter with passion, vision, and confidence—because, as he puts it, “it’s just the beginning.”
