Off the Field Success
From the diamond....
Nick Moore’s journey to the NFL is a testament to resilience, adaptability, and unrelenting work ethic. Growing up in Georgia, he excelled in both baseball and football, but baseball was always his dream. That dream became reality in 2011 when he was drafted by the Boston Red Sox out of high school. He spent four years grinding through the minor leagues, but after struggling at the plate and realizing the odds of making it to the majors, he decided to pivot.
...to the gridiron
At 22 years old, he walked on to the University of Georgia football team, determined to carve out a new path. He started as a linebacker, then moved to fullback, before finding his niche as a long snapper. By his senior year, he had earned the starting role, playing in 14 games, including the National Championship, and setting himself up for a future he hadn’t originally planned. Despite his success at Georgia, Nick went undrafted but impressed at the Senior Bowl and Pro Day, earning a training camp invite with the New Orleans Saints in 2019.
After two preseason games, he was cut, leaving him at a crossroads. He took a job as a financial analyst in Atlanta, but before fully transitioning, he got an opportunity in the XFL. He played there until COVID shut the league down, once again forcing him to adapt.
Then, in March 2020, the Baltimore Ravens signed him, and over time, he worked his way into the starting long snapper role and secured a long-term contract in 2023. Just as everything was coming together, he tore his Achilles, a devastating injury that could have ended his career. But through relentless rehab and determination, he returned and played the entire 2024 season. Now entering his sixth NFL season, Nick continues to prove that setbacks won’t define him. From minor league baseball to the NFL, being cut to earning a long-term contract, and overcoming an Achilles tear, his journey reflects his unshakable belief in himself. Through resilience and determination, he has built a legacy of perseverance that inspires.
Business, Investing & The Power of Networking
Nick has always been forward-thinking about his future. Initially, he saw football as a networking tool, a way to create opportunities beyond the game. Over time, that mindset evolved into a genuine passion for investing. He is particularly interested in venture capital, private equity, and franchising and has already started taking steps toward building his portfolio, including joining Sean Clifford’s fund, an opportunity he is excited to explore. While eager to dive in, Nick knows the importance of educating himself before making major investment moves. He is surrounding himself with experienced mentors, investors, and financial experts to ensure he makes smart, strategic decisions. By leveraging his expanding network, he is setting the foundation for financial success long after his playing days are over.
Family & Balance
Beyond football and business, Nick is a dedicated husband and father. With a wife and two kids, he understands the importance of balancing his career with family life and being present for the people who matter most. His parents, both teachers, and his father, who was also a high school football coach, instilled in him the values of hard work, perseverance, and always giving 100%. Those lessons have shaped his mindset and fueled his relentless drive in everything he pursues. At 33 years old, he knows that football won’t last forever, but he is confident that the foundation he has built on and off the field will set him up for long-term success. Whether in his career, investments, or family life, Nick is fully committed to making the most of every opportunity and creating a lasting impact.
