Some of Jamel’s most recent travel adventures include a trip to the NFLPA meetings in Arizona where he serves as a player representative, using his voice to advocate for the locker room. Motivated by a transformative mission trip to the Dominican Republic, he’s dedicated to mastering Spanish and expanding his cultural competencies, culminating in investing 1% ownership in a Dominican resort. His most recent efforts include attending a Spanish concert in Tampa followed by a visit to Medellin, Columbia where he immersed himself into the cultural elements, including the people, food, and language. Now, fresh from the 2nd annual Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fan Cruise where he was able to connect with fans in a unique and interactive experience, Jamel is ready to deepen connections beyond football, continuing his quest for cultural understanding through travel.
Diversified Business
Driven by a vision for growth, Jamel actively seeks opportunities and mentorship to capitalize on market demand and establish a diverse business portfolio. Recognizing an increased demand in the trucking industry during the heights of the pandemic, he invested in a semi, persistently learning to navigate the industry’s fluctuations. Franchising a commercial cleaning business and negotiating deals with his financial advisor by his side showcases his strategic vision. In addition, Jamel is currently utilizing connections from PAC to solidify a commercial property deal in the Tampa area. His keen eye and commitment to continuous learning drive his personal and professional growth off the field.
