Family Man
Jake Lampman says it simply: he was put on this earth to be a dad. His family is his everything, and his wife—his best friend since college—has been by his side through every twist and turn of his football journey. From practice squads to road trips, from heartbreaks to highlights, she’s been his rock. Now, the two of them are on what Jake calls a “rocketship” together in life, raising their 6-month-old son Baker, the light of their world. Every decision Jake makes is grounded in love for his family. When he’s around the PAC community, he’s soaking up knowledge not for himself, but for his son—because he wants Baker to dream big, think deeply, and chase his own purpose. Jake’s version of legacy isn’t about stats—it’s about showing up with heart and modeling what a man of faith, love, and commitment looks like.

A Heart for service
During his NFL career, Jake was consumed by performance, by staying ready, by grinding for the next shot. He admits that mindset, while necessary at the time, pulled him away from his true nature—serving others. After football, he found himself searching for meaning, wondering how to recreate the feeling of being “the guy” in a different arena. What he discovered is that he didn’t need a platform to lead—he needed purpose. Today, Jake has reconnected with his heart for service, saying “yes” more often, helping where he’s needed, and pouring into the people who matter most. Whether it’s mentoring, working, or just being present, the act of giving is alive and well in his life again. It’s no longer about proving his worth—it’s about living it, every day, through the lens of love.
LIFE AFTER FOOTBALL
Jake’s transition out of the NFL wasn’t just a career shift—it was an identity reckoning. Like many former athletes, he spent years chasing the game, hoping for one more contract, one more chance to prove himself. When the game finally faded, the question that haunted him was simple but paralyzing: What now? The structure, the rush, the purpose—football had given him all of that. Without it, he felt lost. He tried to recreate the high, to find something that could fill the gap. But nothing felt quite the same—until PAC.
When Jake joined PAC, it wasn’t with open arms. He was skeptical. He’d been promised community before. But what he found was different—real connection, real coaching, and a space that helped him slow down and look inward. That changed everything. Now, he’s not just a member—he’s on staff full-time as a Pro Athlete Success Liaison. His job is more than sales—it’s about storytelling, connection, and trust. Jake now spends his days reaching out to current and former pro athletes, helping them see that they’re not alone and that there’s a space for them to grow beyond sport. He doesn’t pitch a program—he shares his journey, his struggles, and the transformation he’s experienced since stepping into the PAC community.
The same qualities that made him an elite teammate—grit, reliability, leadership—now fuel his work as a guide for others navigating their own transitions. Jake has found purpose again, not in highlights, but in heart work. He’s helping athletes realize that their next chapter doesn’t have to be defined by loss—but by evolution.
