As the youngest of four boys in a close-knit family rooted in farming, he learned early on the meaning of discipline, sacrifice, and togetherness. These lessons have guided him as he enters a new chapter of life—fatherhood. Recently married and expecting his first child, D’Marco is intentional about building a strong family foundation. He often reflects on the responsibility he feels to lead by example, not just as a provider, but as a present and engaged father and husband. His heart for service is most visible in his continued involvement with Ochsner Hospital’s Pediatric Center. Whether it’s visiting kids during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month or surprising young patients with once-in-a-lifetime moments, like Super Bowl tickets, D’Marco shows up with humility and heart. For him, community work isn’t about photo ops—it’s about making people feel seen. He also has dreams of expanding his outreach and continuing to create experiences for children and families who need hope, joy, and support the most.

Despite setbacks early in his career, including a season-ending injury as a rookie, D’Marco has proven what resilience looks like in real time. His return in 2023 was nothing short of inspiring—contributing in all 17 games and scoring a special teams touchdown. But even as he sharpens his craft on the field, he’s just as focused on growing off of it. With a degree in business management and a minor in supply chain, he’s actively applying his academic background to real-world ventures. He’s currently working with Syndicate Thirty Seven, a management group helping him refine his investment strategy, build financial literacy, and plan for the long game. Whether it’s budgeting, real estate, or personal routines, D’Marco is building structure around his goals, determined to thrive in every phase of life.
