In Houston, Cyril is working to open Keep It a Bean, a coffee and wine bar that blends his love for community with his passion for creating meaningful spaces where people can gather, connect, and be themselves. Designed to be more than just a café, Keep It a Bean will feature live music, podcast events, and intimate gatherings, fostering an environment that encourages real relationships and authentic conversations. Cyril envisions a warm and welcoming space where people can unwind, share ideas, and build connections over great coffee, curated wine selections, and thoughtfully crafted small bites. His goal is to create an experience that feels both personal and inviting—a place where people aren’t just customers, but part of a larger community that values meaningful interaction and shared moments.

COACHING AND MENTORSHIP

As a coach for 5th and 6th graders, Cyril finds deep fulfillment in shaping young athletes beyond just the game, guiding them in sports, life skills, and financial literacy. His mentorship extends far beyond the field, as he teaches his players about discipline, teamwork, and personal growth. With a particular focus on educating them about NIL opportunities and financial responsibility, he is equipping them with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions about their futures. By introducing these concepts at an early age, Cyril is instilling a mindset of accountability and long-term planning, ensuring they understand the value of their skills both on and off the field.

In addition to coaching at the youth level, Cyril has also started his own 7-on-7 football team, further reinforcing these values in the athletes he mentors. Through this program, he provides young players with an opportunity to develop their skills in a competitive environment while learning the importance of leadership, preparation, and responsibility. His goal is not only to help them grow as athletes but also to prepare them for life beyond sports, giving them the confidence and knowledge to tackle any challenge that comes their way.
