Terrence Murphy Sr., Robyn Glaser, and Matt Joyce Join Pro Athlete Community (PAC) Board of Advisors

Pro Athlete Community (PAC), the first-of-its-kind community built exclusively for pro athletes to navigate life beyond sports, today announced that Terrence Murphy Sr., Robyn Glaser, and Matt Joyce have been appointed to its Board of Advisors. PAC provides athletes with access to top-tier education, business opportunities, and mentorship, helping them build meaningful careers and lives after their playing days.

Murphy Jr., Glaser, and Joyce join the PAC Board of Advisors, alongside numerous household names from across the professional sporting landscape, including Terron Armstead, Ndamukong Suh, Jermon Bushrod, Chrysa Chin, Bronson Kaufusi, Devon Kennard, Kelly Mehrtens, and Julius Thomas. The PAC Board of Advisors is co-Chaired by NFL superstars and Super Bowl Champions, broadcasters and analysts, Devin and Jason McCourty, and WNBA legend and three-time WNBA Champion Candace Parker.

Murphy Sr. is a former NFL wide receiver turned entrepreneur and venture capitalist. He is a pillar in his community in Texas, and a testament to how PAC members can transform their retirements from sports into successful, impactful, and profitable ventures. Murphy Sr. played collegiately for the Texas A&M Aggies, where he was a 2X All-American, 2X 1st Team All-Big 12, 3X Academic All-Big 12, 2X Team Captain, and all-time leading receiver before being selected in the 2nd round of the 2005 NFL Draft. Recently, Murphy Sr. joined the ownership group for the new soccer franchise Atletico Dallas, who will compete in the USL Championship, and play their home games in the historic Cotton Bowl, beginning in 2027.

“It’s truly an honor to be invited to join PAC’s Board of Advisors,” said Murphy Sr. “I’m excited to make new connections and work with current PAC members to help them achieve their goals and advance their careers following their playing days. This is a transformative organization and something that was needed in our community of athletes as we transition to our next chapter in life.”

Glaser is Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Fifth Down Capital, having previously worked as a strategic advisor for the firm. She was a senior executive at The Kraft Group and New England Patriots for more than 18 years, where she drove transformative changes and helped build both corporate and football business structures to an elite level. Her deep ties to the NFL and business acumen will help expand PAC’s reach and impact across the wider sports landscape.

“PAC’s mission is one that was important to me during my tenure with the Patriots,” said Glaser. “I knew I had to be involved with PAC and I am incredibly honored and excited to help shape its future.”

Joyce is a former professional baseball player who played for eight different teams across his 14 year career. Joyce played outfield, making MLB debut for the Detroit Tigers in 2008, and finished his career with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2021. An All-Star in 2011, Joyce played in exactly 1400 career games, finishing with a batting average of .242, with 898 Hits and 149 career Home Runs. Since retiring, Joyce has worked for Bally Sports as a television analyst for the Tampa Bay Rays, and is a real estate investor.

“PAC is the sort of organization that I wish I could have been a part of sooner in my career,” said Joyce. “It’s a great privilege to be invited to help shape the future of PAC alongside my fellow Board of Advisors members. I’m excited to help amplify PAC across the professional sports landscape, and work with Kaleb, Chip, and the team to continue to grow PAC.”

“I’d like to thank Terrence, Robyn, and Matt for their belief in us, and commitment to our mission,” said Pro Athlete Community Co-Founder and CEO Chip Paucek. “They are three fantastic humans, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome them each to our Board of Advisors. We look forward to working with them to continue building PAC and helping more professional athletes achieve their business, mentorship, and career goals.”

Since being created in 2022, PAC has assisted more than 1,500 current and former professional athletes with the next steps in their life following the conclusion of their elite competitive careers, whether that be further educational goals, business ventures, or giving back to the community. Athletes from across the sports world have participated in and committed to building their futures with PAC, including former NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, NHL, PGA, and MLS players, plus athletes who competed in Snowboarding, Skiing, Curling and MMA. PAC membership has a combined Instagram follower base of over 30 million.
