NEW YORK, NY (October 9) – Pro Athlete Community (PAC), the first-of-its-kind community built exclusively for pro athletes to navigate life beyond sports, a collective of more than 1,500 professional athletes, today announced the unveiling of their flagship event, PAC Accelerate. PAC Accelerate is a three-day immersive summit from March 30 through April 2, 2025, at the Arizona Grand Resort, in Phoenix, Arizona. The summit is specifically designed to further elevate and provide career and networking opportunities for professional athletes.
PAC Accelerate is an athlete-driven summit, unique in its offerings and access, built to maximize networking and mentorship opportunities that will make a lasting impact in PAC members’ professional careers and personal lives. Over the course of the summit, PAC members will be able to connect with their peers from across the professional sporting landscape, and interface with over 100 hand-selected CEOs, executives, and trusted business advisors. PAC Accelerate’s curated schedule of events – including workshops, career fairs, networking socials, and golf outings – will provide exclusive access to industry leaders for members to gain insight from. The summit will create a safe space for PAC members to develop their leadership skills, provide pathways for career opportunities, and foster a trusted support network. Highlights of the event include the PROs x CEOs Golf Invitational – where PAC members play alongside executives and sponsors in specially curated foursomes -, the Vendor Village and Career Expo – which provides hands-on access to companies, brands, and hiring pipelines -, and numerous interactive workshops focused on wealth planning, business development strategies, and many other relevant topics.
The summit takes a holistic approach on how athletes can confidently navigate their post-playing careers through tangible skills, real connections and opportunities, and alongside their peers in a collaborative, educational, and supportive environment. PAC members will have numerous organic touchpoints with CEOs, executives, and advisors, and the opportunity to network and build meaningful relationships with those in attendance. PAC Accelerate is a launching pad for each member’s unique legacy and impact.
You must be a PAC member to attend PAC Accelerate. Any current or former professional athlete, from a verified league, can submit an application to confirm their pro status, and become a PAC member. PAC’s verification process ensures the protection of the exclusive network, maintaining professional sports experience as the main prerequisite for admission. Every part of the PAC experience has been intentionally designed to support the whole person — whether pro athletes are launching a business, exploring a new career path, investing in leadership, or simply seeking clarity on what’s next for them. Onboarding includes 1-on-1 leadership coaching and guidance from a PAC Member Success Liaison to customize the experience and meet the athletes where they are. Since being created in 2022, PAC has assisted current and former professional athletes with the next steps in their life following the conclusion of their elite competitive careers, whether that be further educational goals, business ventures, or giving back to the community. Athletes from across the sports landscape have become part of the PAC network of members, including current and former NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, NHL, PGA, and MLS players, plus athletes who have competed in professional Snowboarding, Skiing, Curling and MMA. PAC’s mission is to empower all professional athletes to not only envision their future, but relentlessly pursue it with confidence, purpose, and authenticity.
PAC has over 1,500 pro athlete members with a combined Instagram follower base of more than 30 million. Members receive access to high-level executives, founders, and advisors, so whether a pro athlete is still playing, transitioning out, or already onto their next venture — PAC is built to meet them where they are, and take them further on their journey. PAC defines a pro athlete as someone who competes — or has competed — in sports or athletic events as their primary occupation, earning income through contracts, prize money, stipends, or sponsorships tied directly to competition through a recognized professional league, Olympic body, or international sporting federation. Collegiate athletes who have not competed professionally are not eligible for membership.
