Last week, PAC took over Scottsdale for our biggest and most impactful Pro Athlete Business Combine yet — an exclusive event built for current professional athletes ready to take their careers and futures to the next level. More than 200 professional athletes showed up, representing a wide range of sports — from football, basketball, and baseball to golf, motocross, and curling. This one-of-a-kind experience brought together athletes from multiple leagues for a week of learning, networking, and growth unlike anything else.
What made PABC Scottsdale so special?
PABC Scottsdale brought over 200 current pro athletes together for a week focused on action, ownership, and next-level opportunities. From industry deep dives to real conversations with fellow athletes already building success beyond the game, every session was designed to help pros think bigger about what’s possible — whether they’re just getting started or planning to play for another decade.
PAC members Jamar Taylor and Brett Hundley took the time to teach their fellow athletes, sharing their personal playbooks on real estate investing and smart financial moves. Advisory Board members Devon Kennard and Julius Thomas also led impactful sessions, breaking down long-term wealth strategies, private lending, and how to create financial freedom while still playing. Both emphasized the importance of changing the narrative around life after sports, showing that athletes aren’t just preparing for what’s next — they’re building legacies that extend far beyond the game.
Scottsdale also introduced new deep dives we’ve never done before. Sessions on social media strategy and sports business ventures gave pros a clearer roadmap for building influence, visibility, and brand partnerships while they’re still competing. The success of NCU’s Elite Speaking Academy even inspired a brand-new public speaking workshop, where athletes worked on telling their stories and building confidence in any room, from business meetings to public appearances.

PAC Scottsdale wasn’t just about the athletes. It also featured one of PAC’s largest and most impactful Significant Others programs to date, with over 55 women taking part in their own full week of curated programming. While the pros were diving into business and personal development sessions, their partners were connecting, learning, and exploring ways to thrive in the unique and often complicated world that comes with being part of a pro athlete family — while also building their own personal and professional goals.
With Arizona’s incredible landscape as the backdrop, we swapped our usual run club for a morning hike up Camelback Mountain, where athletes and significant others had the chance to connect, reset, and kick off the day with fresh air and real conversations.
And of course, the Pros & CEOs Golf Tournament at Grayhawk Golf Club was a standout moment. PAC took over all 36 holes, pairing pros with top business leaders and CEOs for a day that blended competition with conversation. The fairways became a space for real connections, business insights, and opportunities that simply don’t happen anywhere else.
With every session, conversation, and experience, Scottsdale showed exactly what’s possible when elite athletes commit to owning their futures and pushing beyond the limits of the game. Whether they left with new business strategies, stronger personal brands, or fresh connections that will open doors down the line, every pro walked away with the confidence and tools to start writing their next chapter on their own terms.

The Power of Partnership: University of Miami Herbert Business School
One important piece of PABC Scottsdale — and every PAC event — is our ongoing partnership with the University of Miami Herbert Business School. Every athlete who completed the combine earned an official PAC Business Accelerator Certificate from The U, recognizing the business skills, leadership insights, and hands-on experience they gained throughout the week. As part of the Scottsdale programming, University of Miami Professor Terri Scandura led The Power of Negotiation, a hands-on session where athletes sharpened their ability to approach high-stakes deals with confidence — whether they’re negotiating contracts, closing business deals, or building brand partnerships. Bringing top-tier education directly to current pros is just one of the many ways PAC helps athletes build real skills they can use right now, while also setting the foundation for life after the game.

This Is Just the Beginning
The Pro Athlete Business Combine isn’t just an event. It’s a statement. For current pros, opportunities like this don’t come around often, and our Scottsdale crew showed up ready to take full advantage. They pushed themselves, asked the tough questions, built real relationships, and took serious steps toward owning their futures on the field, in business, and beyond. With over 200 pros going all in at Scottsdale, they officially take our PAC community to 520+ members strong, and we’re just getting started. Athletes aren’t waiting to figure out what’s next. They are taking control, opening doors for each other, and proving that life after sports isn’t a fallback plan. It’s an opportunity to build something even bigger. This is what PAC is all about.
